From a young age Jason dreamed of being the secret agent hero he had seen so many times in the movies, the guy who saved the day in style all while wooing the beautiful woman.

Jason had his dreams of espionage, women and adventure and knew that for him there was only one place he had a chance of getting all that, the Federation.

Jason attended private schools, prestigious places that few were allowed to enter. His parents were both wealthy on the open commercial market and while they choose Earth as their home they maintained their place in Interspace Finance. Their prestige opened the doors for Jason and while part of him regretted them for it he was happy for the opportunity.

Jason Bishop applied to Starfleet Academy to serve in the field of Starfleet Intelligence but failed to pass the entrance exams to the Advanced Intelligence academy and while his failing was more an issue of time spent between the sheet then on his studies then his own intelligence the fact remained that he was unable to test into the Intel Academy. Impulsively Jason tested for the standard academy, intending to enter the field of Tactical Operations rather then waiting another year before re-testing for Intel.

Even with his active social life, his reckless nights and multiple girlfriend s, he excelled in his classes. He did better then nearly all of his classmates and his drive to achieve his dream, in some form, pushed himself to go as far as he could.

Jason graduated Starfleet Academy with honors and that along with the respect he had earned with the Instructors at the Academy he was award the impressive position of the USS Galaxy, a positions that few first year officers earn.
