Cora was born to Addison and Jenna Dobryin on Dec 7, 2351. For several years the USS Raiden was her home. Quickly learning that life as the child of two Starfleet officers was going to be full of challenge and opportunity. She developed a close relationship with her family. In 2365 Cora joined her brother Lance on Betazed, where completed her high school education at an Academy Prep school.

During that time she decided she wanted Starfleet bad enough to enlist as soon as she turned 18. After Cora had completed her training courses she was assigned to the USS Endeavour. Over the next two years things she experienced forced Cora to change and grow in unexpected ways. Her reason for originally wanting to served the Federation shifted a bit.

Two years later Cora entered Starfleet Academy Cadet class of 2375, to pursue becoming an officer as she’d initially planned. She chose to focus her studies in Intelligence and Flight operations. During her free time Cora got involved in various extracurricular activities while still maintaining good grades.

Cora spent her final year aboard the USS Helios for her Cadet Cruise. That tour of duty included rotations in various departments, a short stint in Flight Control was among them. However due to the raging conflict the Federation found itself involved with, Cadet Dobryin also spent a lot of time working with the ship’s Intelligence community.

Once she had officially graduated from the Academy Cora was promoted to Ensign and her assignment to the ship became permanent. It was a very trying time for several reasons. For the next two years she continued to serve aboard the Helios before leaving the ship for further training. Cora’s Advanced Intelligence Training course lasted several months.

After completing another round of Intelligence training Cora returned to active duty, this time aboard the USS Hyperion. The fact that would be one of the few Starfleet officer assigned to a marine vessel didn’t bother her.

In 2381 Cora accepted a transfer to the USS Galaxy. She looks forward to the challenge provided by a new assignment.

Cora has always been a rather focused individual. Setting goals and constantly looking for new ways to challenge herself. Relationships with her family and friends have always been an important element in Cora’s life. Losing her sister, Alanna wasn’t easy on her. Its something she thinks about in quiet moments when she is alone.

Romantic relationships have come and gone in Cora’s life. Usually because she has chosen to put work first, though she is slowly coming to realize that isn’t everything.

She is also views her time on the Endeavour as a turning point for her. It was during that time Cora gave up being just an innocent child.
