Unlike her sisters, who continued on the 'typical' trajectory, Erin boldly set off in her own direction. While she still remained close to her family, she didn't have the same ambitions for college or a career as the other girls, and after a few years of 'finding herself' decided to study to be a bartender when she was twenty. For three years after graduating as a licensed mixologist, she moved from job to job, establishment to establishment, city to city, looking for that 'perfect' situation.

Then, early in 2377, while working at a bar in San Francisco that was popular with many Starfleet cadets and officers, Erin was offered the chance to become a bartender at the infamous Red Dwarf Lounge at the Utopia Planetia shipyards. Never having seriously contemplated a life or career off-world, she decided the opportunity was too good to pass up.

Two years later, after meeting Lieutenant Jeremy Savoie, Erin inquired about potential openings on the newly-refitted Galaxy and accepted the position of hostess and head bartender.

Erin is the quintessential bartender and hostess. Down-to-earth, engaging, bright, and a good listener, she loves to be around people. More likely to be holding the spotlight than to be in it however, she only occasionally shares her talents as a singer, pianist or actor, usually prefering to keep that part of herself private.

Like many people of an artistic temperment, Erin's darker side can be less than pleasant. Moodiness and one hell of an Irish temper are the principle weapons in her emotional arsenal, and she never forgets a slight.

Erin's Irish heritage shines through in her blazing red hair and emerald green eyes, vivacious personality and Irish Temper.

She is also still a bit of a drifter, never sure if where she is today is where she'll want to be tomorrow.
