Min’el was born in the capital city of Learan Manev, to a couple of spice merchants. Her parents specialized in Ferengi Spices and as such Min’el found her self in the company of these strange off-worlders for most of her life. From the womb, this violet-eyed Trill was a climber. She even called her birth the first spelunking adventure, and she was rarely seen without her climbing gear ever since. She was one of the youngest Trill to free climb Bes Manev, the largest mountain in the Ayai'leh-hirh range, which she later base jumped – of course. She also claimed the Tenaran Ice Cliffs by the age of 13. She base jumped these too, and spent a couple months in a cast for her efforts. Eventually, she started giving climbing and spelunking tours for her parents more adventurous Ferengi buyers and she not only picked up their language but their fascination with trade and money. As a young adult she started an online store for specialized climbing gear and made a fair bit of money in the process, but she wanted even more adventure then her homeworld could offer, so taking the advice of one her Ferengi friends she joined the SFFC in 2378. From her first step on campus she was adventurous, and looking for a way to continue making money in any fashion. Her online business was still in swing when, on a dare (for money – of course) she entered a singing contest and to her (and all her classmates surprise) she won it. Her victory sent her to a multi-world competition, which she won as well, earning her the call sign “the Muse” (that and because “Trader” just sounds wrong over the Com). Her singing notoriety did wonders for her online business company and with the proceeds was able to fund her full education with a large amount to spare. She’s actually quite wealthy but there is never too much money. She graduated from the SFFC as the Salutatorian and as a stunt, Base Jumped form the Main Control Tower to the graduation podium with flair. She was reprimanded, and nearly lost her award for excellence for the occurrence, which would have been fine with her because she TOTALLY stuck the landing! Her status as Salutatorian allowed her the pick of the fleet for assignments and as such she chose the USS Galaxy. |

She is a fiery spirit that is always ready for adventure. She has very strong arms due to her years climbing and loves to challenge men bigger then her to arm wrestling matches. She is a little uncomfortable around non Ferengi, non Terran, or non Trill males but loves anyone that appears to be adventurous. She is absolutely fascinated with money and has difficulty refusing any challenge, dare, or gambling opportunity when the prospect of money is involved – it’s actually an addiction. |
