2372: Yale University, Earth (Major: Universal Law, Minor: Interspecies diplomacy with emphasis on hostile races)

Ophelia led a quiet childhood. Raised by her mother, a Starfleet diplomat, Ophelia grew to be familiar with many cultures. At an early age, she relished learning the intricacies of the responsibilities of what a diplomat truly entails.

Not knowing much about her father left her curious as a little girl. However, that curiosity faded as her mother kept her busy with learning all she could teach her daughter about life. Pax held a very dark secret from Ophelia. In part, the girl always suspected that something was amiss concerning her father, but never contained enough courage to ask her mother her questions concerning her father out right.

She grew with a quiet optimism, not positive of what she wanted to do with her life. In the end, as time grew short, Ophelia chose Starfleet. She combined her love of Universal law and diplomacy and entered the Academy. Graduation, the young girl turned woman found herself thrown into the den of uncertainty with her first assignment in Tuscany.

Stability entered her life in the form of Gavin Rodriguez. Following a short courtship, the two married. Ophelia was now the one that held a secret of her own, covered by the long sleeves of the Starfleet uniform, no one knew of her personal hell. Finally after a final confrontation, she found the strength to start over, requesting a different assignment and was granted the Chief of the Liaison department.

Ophelia has a tendency to believe that there is an element of 'good' in everyone despite her own personal experience. With that general belief, the woman is an exuberant optimist on the outside.

Jr. LT. Zamora has a vine tattoo laced with crimson roses among the small of her back. It holds personal and private significance for her.
