T'rehn was born and raised on Vulcan in the essence of the Vulcan manner. She attended the Vulcan Science Academy and was intrigued by the stories of humans. She decided to attend Starfleet Academy, feeling that the Federation could use more logical thinkers in charge of its starships. Lasting only two years in the Academy before being overwhelmed by the illogical and emotional nature of her human comrades, T'rehn decided to leave the humans to their own folly. She returned to Vulcan, was claimed as a mate and raised four children. She immersed herself in the Vulcan disciplines, trying to erase the notions that humans had given her about logic and emotions. She taught youngsters at the Science Academy for many years, specializing in paleo-botany and temporal mechanics. Her husband was killed in a shuttle explosion in 2370 and after much reflection and meditation, T'rehn returned to the Academy. This time, she immersed herself in the diversity to be found, while still maintaining her Vulcan stoicism. She became fascinated by fencing and bat'leth techniques and mastered both skills. |

T'rehn is very Vulcan. She is unemotional and eminently logical. However, she is an older Vulcan and has the benefit of those years of experience behind her in dealing with illogical and emotional races. She has a tendency to immerse herself in the science behind anything and ignore the possibilities of unusual solutions. | ||
T'rehn has four children
(three boys and a girl) all grown and ten grandchildren. |
