T'Rei was born in Biloxi, Mississippi under the Terran name of Savannah Boost. At the tender age of 3, her parents gave up their custodial rights to Savannah, stating that she was too much to handle. From the age of 3 to the age of 7, Savannah resided at the International Adoption Home located on the planet of Xavier III. Savannah has mentally shut out this time in her life, due to the facts that it was just too painful to deal with. Her repressed emotional status made it difficult for any adopting people to find her engaging enough to take home. That was until T'Marl and Sakar visited the Home. When their eyes met the emotionless gaze of Savannah, they instantly felt a need to call her their own. With the adoption process complete, the new family headed back to the Vulcan home world to live a life of solitude. Savannah was given the name of T'Rei, which means closed flower in Vulcan. From age 7 to age 18, T'Rei was schooled in the art of Vulcan. T'Marl took care to pass down the traditions and specific ways of the Vulcans. Slowly, the once Terran girl transformed from emotionless Terran to logical Vulcan. All that was missing were the pointed ears. Vulcans around her marveled at her stoic demeanor. At times, she resembled the stereotypical Vulcan more than the Vulcans resembled themselves. Upon turning 18, T'Rei returned to her birthplace of Biloxi, Mississippi to attend the state training school of security training. Her parents resisted at the thought of their daughter pursuing security training, but after many discussions on the logic of the situation, her parents recanted secure that T'Rei would not falter from her raising as a Vulcan. She did not. Excelling at the training school, T'Rei applied and was admitted to Starfleet Academy. Upon graduating from the academy, T'Rei was assigned to the USS Galaxy.
T'Rei is known for her stoic, serious demeanor. Humor is not understood to her and she finds no logic in its pursuits. She tends to focus more on her career and is extremely driven. At her assignment onto the Galaxy, she has no friends. What many would deem friends, she would deem acquaintances. She moves towards spending time reflecting on the logic of the world around her and it strangely quiet most of the time. When her emotions do get the best of her, they do so in a private place. No one has ever witnessed T'Rei loose herself to her emotions, it's just something that she has never done in public or with a single witness.
T'Rei has a small heart shaped birthmark located at the base of her neck.
