SFMC Reconnaissance

Those officers wanting to join the Special Operations unit SFMC Recon are required to attend both ASOS and SERE as well as attend Starfleet Academy and study in the Intelligence Branch.


This unit includes advanced training in the following areas on top of the prerequisites mentioned above:

  • Cryptanalysis
  • Covert Operations
  • Electronics Operations: Communications
  • Electronics Operations: Security Systems
  • Electronics: Communications
  • Electronics: Sensors
  • Intelligence Analysis
  • Interrogation
  • Language: (specialty)
  • Signal Intelligence Collection/Jamming
  • Xenology: (specialty)
