This medal is awarded to members of Starfleet for exceptional achievement which substantially contributes to the accomplishment of Federation missions, major programs, or who distinguishes themselves by either outstanding achievement or meritorious noncombat service to the Federation.

The Meritorious Service Medal is what would be described as a Minor Honor. It cannot be bestowed on a character or non-player character without express permission from the GamesMaster.

In order to be eligible for nomination for this Award, the character must be a member of the simulation for not less than 6 Months. Nominations are submitted to the GM for deliberation.

A ribbon will be placed on the PC bio once approved.
