The Federation's highest honor. Awarded by the President of the United Federation of Planets to a member of Starfleet who has distinguished him or herself conspicuously by gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of their own life above and beyond the call of duty while engaged in an action against an enemy of the Federation.

Highest award given out by Starfleet under it's own auspices, established in 2238 after complaints that the Medal of Honor was 'political' in its nature.

A. Guaranteed attendance at Command College.
B . Promotion to next highest rank.
C . Duty Station choice.

The Starfleet Medal of Valor is what would be described as a Major Honor. It cannot be bestowed on a character or non-player character without express permission from the GamesMaster as it is a highly prized and rare Starfleet Award.

In order to be eligible for nomination for this Award, the character must be a member of the simulation for not less than One Year. Nominations are submitted to the GM for deliberation.

A ribbon will be placed on the PC bio once approved.
