Awarded to non-commissioned officers and men for an act or acts of exceptional valour, courage or devotion to duty, though not in active operations against the enemy.

The Starfleet Medal is what would be described as a Major Honor. It cannot be bestowed on a character or non-player character without express permission from the GamesMaster as it is a highly prized and rare Starfleet Award.

In order to be eligible for nomination for this Award, the character must be a member of the simulation for not less than One Year. Nominations are submitted to the GM for deliberation.

A ribbon will be placed on the PC bio once approved.
