Simmer of the Mission |

A Ribbon will be added to their Writer Biographies to reflect this recognition. "LtCmdr James Corgan has easily been the best-written character in this plot. Through a series of logs on the surface, Dallas gave us a very realistic and believable insight into the revived feelings Corgan has for Rebecca von Ernst - and by JPing with Chris has allowed him to demonstrate again the more vulnerable side of his character. But the personal character development didn't distract Dallas from participating meaningfully in the mainstream Away Team part of the plot, or indeed, via backposts, with the plot onboard the Galaxy, where the rougher side of the character wins out. All in all a very convincing portrait of a great character - the posts were always a pleasure to read." "I personally feel that the Way that Dallas articulated Corgan was superbly done and showed a great skill as a writer....a skill not many have....a skill that I know I have in myself...but must unlock. Lol, sorry for the self plug there.....but Dallas was awesome this run." "I nominate Dallas Reinhart, for his consistently entertaining and unique writing, his ability to adapt to plots that others find difficult to follow, and his long contributions to this sim and the previous one. I especially appreciated when he helped pick up the away team and keep the sim moving when Chris had computer trouble and had to disappear for a while. I enjoyed his work with the Romulan Ambassador. James Corgan has been a consistent, yet developing character who is interesting to read, and I will enjoy seeing more of Dallas' work." "Dallas is a highly talented and creative writer, quite dedicated in my book. He's also one of the few who tried to hold the shuttle mission down on Quentin together." "I'm gonna vote for you this time, Ian. I think you did some nice writing with our friend the Legate. ;)" "I liked your stuff, specially in the beginning, middle and end :) Seriously though, I liked your stuff. Descriptive." "Marco, cause he has been a joy to write with and well he's done loads of posts!" "I vote for Marco, because his point of view made the episode interesting." "For me the "Simmer of the Mission" this time is Marco Matijevic. He came, he saw,...and next wrote his PC beautifully into the mission while at the same time contributing to the storyline. A great way to enter a new Sim I would say." Honourable mentions go out to Dru E., Robert H., Andrew A., Chris D., Francis B., and Lee J. for their contributions as well! "I'd have to go with Toothpick (Chris). Once again, he provided some of the most memorable moments of the mission." "I would like to nominate Chris for simmer of the mission, as he is the only one who has kept the story moving. Although I can't quote much from what has been said I just love the phrase, "noodle head" "Francis continually writes top notch posts and his work in this mission was stellar." "For my part, I have to nominate both Lee and Francis for their work as Savar and Cassius. No matter how hard it was to figure out what we needed to do next to move the plot along, they always rose to the occasion." "Lee brought to the floor a virtual film of imagery in his writings. His portrayal of a Romulan caught in between the differing politics of the Federation and Romulan Empire was fantastic. I felt the emotions he sent out, and made the scene all the more real for me. Simply amazing visuals." "Dru's posts done are worthy of novelization, just phenomenal." "Robert had a tough part this episode, I think. With his continued character arc with Victor Krieghoff always churning in the background, he still managed to set up several JP's with the crew of the Galaxy, and be one of the three key players in coordinating that space battle." "Andrew seems to post alot and puts
effort in his posts, not just a couple of lines. He is the only one who
stands out in my mind." |
