Simmer of the Mission

Mieke

"My simmer of the mission goes to Mieke. I think that for a new simmer, she quickly got her character deeply involved in the main plot and in many interesting side stories. Her writing is excellent, and Branwen is an interesting character, which requires good role-playing skills to portray correctly - one that Mieke has in my humble opinion."

Andrew

"Klaus did good at the dark depressing posts about people dying...very creative....in a dark way."

Lori C.

"Lori, whose sheer participation and the quantum leap Naranda went through in terms of character development and storyarc make her a worthy candidate as well."

"I vote for Lori Cox and Nara. She appeared to be the single most prolific writer in the last mission, and the interpersonal relationship sprawl she's concocted for her characters(s) was a nice change from the 'I'm okay/you're okay' state of affairs."

Kat and Laurel

"Tarin and Jasmine Heloi....the ones who came up with making up crazy rhymes when they went bizarro when the OTHER invaded their minds."

'I'd like to nominate Laurel "Lauren" Brown and Kat Andrews to the consulship... err... to be simmers of the mission. These two hammered out the craziest, funniest, most interesting post of the mission. I'll be honest. I didn't pay as much attention to this one as I should have, but their posts drew me back into the swing of things."

Robert, Kylee, and Oded

"God, this is hard. I'm just going to vote for people whose posts I remembered enjoying, namely Robert, Kylee, and Oded."

Pat

"This time around I'm going to vote for Pat. Just reading his posts - especially the typical fighter jock ones - just reminds me all too much
of Battlestar Galactica. They're fun, they're exciting...anyway, he did a good job this episode."

Everyone

"I don't really have any way to simply nominate any singular individual for Simmer of the Mission. It was just one damn good mission, so really, it should be an award shared by everyone, in my opinion."

Dallas

"Hm...I've been holding back because I wasn't sure who to go for, so in the end I've decided not to go for quantity but for a post I remember really really enjoying...and I had great fun reading Corgan's 'Some sentience may occur', so I think that gets my vote."

Anne

"I thought that Anne's idea of having Will (Warbeck) actually coming back to reality with the mentality of a 13 year old was inspired."

Robert

"Oh yeah . . . ok, I have to go with Robert. And as lame as it may sound there's only one reason: the title of his series of posts "The Devil Went Down to Johr'Jah" (I think I misspelled it, but anyway . . .). While his writing is always good, that title alone was worthy of SOM to me. ;)"

Trey

"My vote would go for Brianna, our Chief Engineer :-)"

The most recognized writer...

-=/\=- Oded -=/\=-

"My nomination for simmer of the mission is for Oded. He writes both an interesting and an extremely funny character that is a lot of fun to read. You don't get bored reading his posts, and he does post a lot, whether it has to do with the current story or his own ongoing story. He's also very easy and enjoyable to write with and I think he did a really good job this last mission."

"Saul came up with that road thing. That was pretty kewl."

"Oded Magger - His continuous 'nonconciliatory' posts are something we should all strive for."

"I would like to nominate Oded, writer for Saul Bental. Seeing Saul react to such a large number of unique memories from all over the ship definitely piqued my curiosity, and left me wondering just what Saul was going to stumble into next."
