Simmer of the Mission |

Lori (aka Naranda Sol Roswell) I nominate you with thanks for helping me and also for giving me the delight of continuing to give me something great to read. Thank you for Nara's compassion towards Dhani and Kala, for your ongoing plot with Saul, the fake death that was a joy to read, for bringing Saia to the ship and the growing relationship with the Trill child, the interesting love tangle between Bran and Saul, the conflict between her and her commanding officer O'Shea. All these plots have been great to read and I can't wait to see where they all end up. And of course a huge thank you for passing emails between me and Robert. Wil Wil (aka Marcus Alexander Slaton) I nominate you with thanks for playing Ward and your vast knowledge of federation law and for all your help. Thank you for helping me tell my story, and for continuing to play Ward, who is and excellent character and also Marcus who has taken O'Sheas hand in marriage, this story has been brilliant to read. Oded Thanks again for stepping up to running an Intelligence subplot with the Admiral. Some excellent stuff. I think the flashback style was what really grabbed me. And the cameo by my old NPC, Lysandra. Jeremy Jeremy (aka Emily Fellbaum) I nominate you with thanks for playing NPC Thomas Jensen. Your role may have been but a cameo in the post but I still thank you for taking the time to do that. It was really appreciated. Lori M. Lori (aka Karyn Elizabeth Dallas) I nominate you with thanks for your help too. The post we wrote together took a long time and was finally aired a few months ago. I thank you for that, it was a joy to write and I'm sorry it took so long to come out. You are an amazing writer and I thank you for all the support you have given me in RL, as well as the fantastic plot's you manage to end up in. You are a great department head, always making sure Dallas gets into plots and stories that as a counsellor she would. Your 'reaction' to others posts really shows that you take your role seriously and that you also read all the posts! *Your* wisdom shows through Dallas. Thank you. Dallas and Lori M. James Corgan, Atole Terki, Mika, Henderson (cameo appearance) and Karyn Dallas. This plot has been an absolute joy to read. Exciting and gripping. And as I have mentioned many times GIMMIE MORE..! It has been just wow... okay I'm running out of words to describe it. But, really, truly, fantastic. Thank you all involved for giving us something great to read, Dallas Reinhart, Lori Miller, I don't know if Francis took part in this one, the appearance of Cass was small, and I don't know who wrote Terki and Mika. I presume it was Dallas? If so totally amazing, if not then I need some names up here so no one misses out on the lime-light! Dude, that was exactly what I had in mind for this mission. I especially liked the touch where he finds the artifact that can't be used without the Ancient Hydran language. I'm filing that one away for future reference. Once again, you took what you were given and ran with it, all with the usual James 'Broken Head' Corgan style. Martin Martin (aka Michael McDowell) I thank you for finally returning to the Galaxy. Michael was Dhanis best friend on the ship and you are my best friend on line. You, Martin, have been there for me through thick and thin, and with all my heart I love you for everything you have done for me. (If you look closely he's blushing bright red!) I thank you for being here, it's a joy writing with you again. And I also thank you for giving me the honour to be involved in Michaels return. Thank you. Francis I think Francis has done a fantastic job of writing the relationship between Cass and Ekoma and his dilemmas with Rima, some real heart felt stuff and realistic too. Sabrina T'Ashaya - I loved the imagery from her post, totally sonic! Was very well thought out and presented, great stuff. And another unusual take on a Vulcan hybrid character, lovely to read. Pat W. Corran Rex. He is a great character well played and a total slut! Love it! I have really enjoyed 'watching' him come into his element. Although I missed most of the posts relating to the final re-amalgamation of all his past hosts and the final separation between them, I have none the less enjoyed seeing him become 'whole'. But I do have to say I miss Vorin popping up and some of the others, they were fun to read. But I also enjoy the stability that Rex now has. And his aversion to serious relationships. and crashing ships in suicide attempts. he always keeps me on my toes. great stuff. Pat and Becky W. Rex & Jen, I liked their posts taking place outside the ship, defiantly different and again an original approach really good. Like it, and a good into for Jen. Well done. Dru, Bob, Martin I think Dru, Bob and Martin have been great simmers for the sub-storyline that took place on the galaxy. Not only did they give 110% during it but the way the storyline was wrote was more like a bunch of friends getting together. At times when joint posts are wrote it's very... botched.. when I read the joint post from the sub-storyline I have to say it was well down. I liked the way Dru, Bob and Martin brought for their characters, especially when Dru and Martin weren't even playing their own character. Bob Bob, Noam Brosh, I nominate you for also participating in the mission on the ship. I don't think it would have been as good without you, your knowledge, (this man is a walking text book of all things Trek!) is vast and its been great to have someone who A knows these things and B is willing to spend ages writing it all down for a num nuts like me who knows jack! Thank you. Kylee Kylee for 8-ball - I think she did a fantastic job with the tests for her character on the away team. Kylee. I thought her trial posts were great :) Trey Trey (aka Brianna O'Shea) I nominate you for helping me to tell my story, for you're delightful portrayal of O'Shea, her trials of her new command, her love for Marcus and for being a fantastic department head. You really have done a great job taking over engineering. I am finally able to see what I have dreamed for this department, and that is a bond; A bond between characters and the people that play them which I think is growing and becoming stronger. Our department is the biggest on the ship and I believe it's the most family orientated one. That might not be seen or felt 'on camera' yet, but I feel it as a writer and I think that you have a huge part to play in that. Thank you Trey. Trey, what you pulled off without any prompting from the GM staff, is exactly the kind of initiative that we're always looking for form our department heads. You took a group of people who weren't exactly sure what to do with the mission, and gave them a purpose. Matt M. Tish, as always, has been written fantastically, I see everything when reading these, I love the way Mat really captures her movements. her antennas.. So much emotion is conveyed through them and that is a mark of a good writer. He has taken Tish and made her really something, I think he has done an excellent job of writing an alien character. I don't think there is anyone else that has really taken time to become one with their 'alien' to the same extent that Mat has done here. I would like to nominate Matt as simmer of the month. After a long period of taking only a support role, Tish came back to the front stage this episode, and did so big time. Tish was heavily involved in the mainplot, led the marines to new heights, and presented some intriguing subplots (Namely her relations with Cassius). Matt excelled in both character interaction and enjoyable posts, and for that he deserves the honor. "Matt, I keep coming back to you, man. Your inital idea for Tish and Cass to get caught off alone together was inspired. I'm still writing the ending for it, but it's going to be one worth reading when I'm done. This experience changes their relationship in ways we're only beginning to explore. Thanks for everything, man." Ian, Kylee, and Robert I liked Ian's writing for Kylar Curran on this. As well as Kylee for 8-Ball Hunter. In the same regards, I also liked Robert's postings for Victor Krieghoff. Laurel/Lori/Sabe You guys also stepped up and headed up the science team on the planet, giving us some of the best written posts of the game. From Laurel and Lori's Indiana Jones adventure to Sabe's choose your own ending, I thoroughly enjoyed the stuff from three of my favorite characters. The most recognized writer... I sadly admit I read very few posts (even my own jps once they were complete) but i was drawn to read most of theirs....and what I read did not disappoint the mute, now with robotic voice, that falls for the clueless epitome of death....most interesting indeed. Robert (aka Victor Krieghoff and Darren M'Kantu) I nominate you for your help in writing my story about Dhani. And also for your fantastic portrayal of Victor, a character that continues to scare the crap out of the crew. The love story between Victor and Ella that one day will hopefully end in marriage of these two characters? (Here's hoping) and also for portraying our Captain. You do a great job, thank you. And finally Victor and Ella. This love story is driving me insane but it is still bloody fantastic. And I swear if you don't get those to together I will do something drastic! I also loved the style you wrote the posts in flashing from present to past. Very good! I'm nominating Robert and Mek for co-Simmer of the Mission. Throughout the tests-in-the-Temple series, Victor and Ella's storyline was the most exciting and the funnest to read, and they came up with a lot of continuing posts only to finally declare their love AND STILL NOT BE TOGETHER!!! Ahhhhh! Yes, my simmer of the mission nomination goes to the two writers who write my favorite star-crossed lovers on Galaxy and drive me nuts! Good job! V.Krieghoff - It's quite simple - cool posts, and the guy just cracks me up. Robert for Victor, and Mek for Ella - I loved reading everything they put out. So well written, and interesting for the characters. It's lots of fun to read the miscommunications between the two of them, and y'all play off each other so well. I don't know if I want them to get together or not! For my final vote, I'll say Robert for Victor Krieghoff. He had some very powerful and very deep posts on this mission that I enjoyed reading about. Keep up the good work Rob! :) A tie: the Victor/Ella JP's were hugely entertaining and witty. I would be sure to give Mek and Robert two thumbs waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay up for their efforts! Victor and Ella's continued frustration makes the tangled love life of my character look like a piece of cake. Their passage through the honesty-tester temple was an engaging read that was spot on with the mission objectives. Kudos to you two.
