Simmer of the Mission

Michael

"Michael Meunier, because not only has he done so much work with his Artim character, he has been consistent in his writing quality. I wish I could belt them out like that!"

Pat and Becky

"Corran/Teyri - They seemed to write well together after their shuttle crashed. The story was enjoyable and a great read."

Pat

"I always find this a tough one, there are many good writers and stories on the Gal, but if i have to pick i'd have to go with Rex Corran and the lost in the woods posts."

Dallas

"Corgan. The way he described watching Ekoma and his thoughts about Mika...just saw a protector, gentleman, knightly kind he is."

Oded and Alex

"There were a lot of strong outings this mission - Oded & Alex did very well with their part of the Ops subplot, and I especially like the chemistry between their characters."

Robert B. and Serene

"Serene and Robert B - good stuff with Ayden and Ember. Again, very good chemistry between the writers and the characters."

Bob (Noam)

"Bob - plays Michael Jamson. Firstly Bob has become a good friend OOC but the reason why I want to mention him is cause of a post of his that was quite recent. In the post Michael walks round like a zombie, he is at a loose end with his life, having gone from commanding his own ship to disgrace as a junior officer on a starship where no one really knows he exists.

A little part of me wonders if Bob feels this way ooc, but that's a different matter. I want to mention him for other reasons other than possible sympathy.

He ****IS**** a fantastic writer and goes unrecognised most of the time. I have been in missions with him where he has been a source of strength, carrying the mission along with me and Trey and well this dude is in my heart and I want to share that.

David W.

"I want to mention Dave - plays Kelden. Kelden is a new character to the sim and one I kinda jumped on as soon as he arrived, in a good way honest!

Daves' writing is fantastic, he is still getting used to the set up of JP's (nudges Dave and smiles) but I can't flaw his writing. He is brilliant.
For the moment this mission hasn't really given him a platform to excel but I'm gonna let ya all know now...... watch this space!! I predict fantastic things from this dude!"

Everyone

"I think everyone did well, although I have to say no particular writer *for the mission* stood out in my eyes. Everyone did some great writing, but in terms of the mission, there wasn't any particular person I could distinguish."

"I've been thinking about it for a couple days but I haven't really been able to decide on any one person. There was good stuff from everyone in this ep."

Matt M., Francis, Dallas, Ian, Mek, Laura, Mieke

"The entire writing cast of the Double Helix posts. The topic was horrific, disturbing, and handled better than many so-called professional writers I've seen did. I read the whole arc to date before I went to bed Saturday, and then couldn't do anything but lie there and see the lines running through my head over and over again. To have one writer do that to me would be damn good, but for all oft hem - amazing, simply amazing."

"I can't pick just one person, so I'd like to nominate the writers of the abductees. Their series of posts was definitely my favorite."

Trey

"Trey - didn't see the clone thing coming at all."

"My pick - O'Shea - Jiiles(Trey). The adventures of lieutenant Jiiles make me laugh for some reason, with the interest and anticipation of really wanting to know more about the character."

"Trey - plays Briana O'Shea. In this last mission we have seen Anna turn into the traitor, it has been an interesting revelation but what excites me more is the anticipation of her return. From the post he wrote; 'Broken' I am excited to see what kind of person Anna will be when she comes back; I am excited to be able to watch this, potentially, amazing character development."

Brian

"I'd nominate Brian for Simmer of the Mission. I think Elessidil has easily been one of the most interesting characters this episode. I liked watching his character balance the counselling of other PC's after what happened with the Dithparu and trying to deal himself with what he did during that mission. His posts are easy to read, often funny, and something that kept me interested in this mission."

"Props to Brian, too, for continuing to develop Elessidil the way he is."

"I'd have to go with Brian. There was alot of development of the character I think and the way he worked within that plot was simply amazing."

"I would like to nominate Jonas (Baile) and Brian (Elessidil, probably spelled wrong) for their respective posts which I really enjoyed reading."

Ian

"One of your strongest outings with Curran, who I always like to see more of."

"I nominate Ian for Simmer of the Mission. I am a big fan of endings with a cinimatic feel to it and I could see the ending trilogy (the great purge) put to film with a sweet musical score. It's not often that a GM gets the nod, but I have to give it in this case."

"Ian is my nomination for SotM because I thought he wrote Olivia Proctor as such a "delicious bitch".

"I think two people stood out for me this mission. In the way they posted, what they posted about and quantity. Ian and Jonas."

Serene

"My simmer of the mission is Serene. Her joint posts often remind me of a fencing match, but oh - what a wonderful match it is. She leads her character in a unique way that makes you want to see how Ember reacts next, and of course she has half the ship's male pilots flying in circles 'round her charater's little finger..."

"I'd have to go with Serene for her excellent development of Ember...and successfully cock-blocking several male crewmembers :)"

"I'll be honest that I think Serene would deserve the simmer of the month award. She's come through as an experienced writer, and many of her recent logs have really brought the attention of the Galaxy players. Alex said it best, and I have to mimic his words. Serene really makes you stop and think before you respond, which after nearly a decade of simming I have only come across since meeting her.

I think her writing has added some good humor, evil twists, and a few slap in the face to the simulation. Her plot ideas are outstanding."

"Serene and Robert B - good stuff with Ayden and Ember. Again, very good chemistry between the writers and the characters."

The most recognized writer...

-=/\=- Jonas-=/\=-

"Jonas - you're doing incredible work with Baile, particularly when we already have a character so similar, in Kreighoff, who was here first. Very similar characters, but both very interesting ones."

"Jonas... cause I think his posts are amazing."

"My vote is for... Jonas. Always well-written, and because he makes you want to read more about Baile, even when you don't like him."

"Jonas, he is simmer of the mission simmer of the entire ****** Galaxy..

His posts are captivating moving funny dark and totally amazing...

Jonas is the simmer of all sims he is the one and only, and I have never been able to praise just one person but now I have found the One. and it's him.

Promotion, ribbons, awards, and markies all to him for all his posts!"

"I think two people stood out for me this mission. In the way they posted, what they posted about and quantity. Ian and Jonas."

"I would like to nominate Jonas (Baile) and Brian (Elessidil, probably spelled wrong) for their respective posts which I really enjoyed reading."
