Simmer of the Mission |

"Oded and Kylee for their Cheron side plot." Oded and Dave R. "Both really impressed me with their work. they wrote a lot and it was innovative. They would come up with solutions and storylines. Great job guys." Matt and Ian The portrayal of the Marine NPC's was also brilliant - if a ill long winded (tip keep em shorter with that many characters) but still great reading. I love all the characters and how each one of them does stand out (even if I have a crap memory regarding names) but it was well written inspired and fun. Nitro - sticks out... just ause of the name! Oh and that Shade dude.... totally fab!!! Lovin it kep it up. All of the Marines, with the [exception of those who did not participate in the JP's]. Special Notice: Mieke "I've got to hand it to Mieke, she really went above and beyond with some of the stuff in those JPs that I as a writer had to say, "Wow" to you know?" "Mieke - because I wondered at one point id Bran was ever going to get any sleep at all! =)" Dave R. "I would like to nominate Matheson the doctor for open fist. He worked alone for the majority of that mission, his posts were totally fantastic. I love the fact that he actually writes his character with an accent rather than just bull-shitting that he has one every other line. his character is just fab. love him, love his attitude. love the writing. love it all really! - he's no one for the mission in my eyes." "For 'Open Fist' I would like to nominate Dave Ready as simmer of the mission. If that's not enough, Dave's Klingon posts were excellent. I'm sure that at least half a dozen Vergh quotes are going to appear on the quotes page, and the depiction of the Klingon crew and their leader was superb. "Mathieson - I'm starting to enjoy this PC more and more." Oded, Kylee, Marco, Lori, and Michael M. "...for the Challenger series of Open Fist. I really can't narrow it down any further than that, [It] held my interest for the longest and I'm waiting to see how [it] end[s] (Modified by editor as it complimented a Catalyst storyline as well)." "...I feel I didn't really contribute that much but it is what I saw being written and was impressed with them." "I nominate Oded Magerer (sp?), writer of Saul Bental. The whole "Delilah" sub-plot that he invented was truly ingenious, and wonderfully ambitious. It is refreshing and encouraging to see a writer who takes the basics of the outline, coupled with "known" facts of the fiction, and creates such a delicous and intriguing story. Truthfully, I couldn't wait until the next plot for "Delilah" unfolded! Well, done! Also, a congratulations to all of the writers that participated in the above plot, as either "themselves" or as the ghosts of the Challenger's crew. They really came together and "gelled", unlike any of the other teams in this episode, IMO. Kudos especially go to Marco Matijevic, who has grown so much as author and writer of Turan Trelar--well-done." "Saul's side story on the away mission (open fist) was inspired. I loved the side stories for the dead crew, it was a great way to tell the story of Delilah - and Delilah - brilliant! (to all on that side mission - great peeps well done)" The most recognized writer... "Saul Bental. Oded, as usual, did a great job with Saul." "Brilliant dude, totally brilliant i was on the edge of my seat, and my eyes even welled up through this. a great bit of story telling. "Oded, for Saul Bental, and for keeping the Open Fist plotline going and making it interesting for everybody involved. Oded's a great writer; he can balance the serious with the funny, not something everyone can always do." "I would like to nominate Oded for having done such a good job keeping us Challenger explorers together. If I got it right Saul Bental was the one who appeard in most of the Challenger subplot posts." [Was nominated by a writer in the survey, but no comments were made]
