Beral was born on 5th July 2024 on Trill. On 7th September 2048 he was joined with his first host, male Traal. Traal was born on 8th June 2025 and worked as a psychologist. He married a woman called Nadeen and he had two daughters with her. In 2068 his wife died in an accident in a factory she worked in. Traal married again one year later and with his new wife he had three more children, two daughters and one son. His son entered the Trill initiate program, but he was dropped down. Traal died on 8th July 2098.
After Traal was Beral joined with female host Janeen. She was born on 8th June 2074. She was already married and had one daughter with her husband. Later she had another three children - two sons and one daughter. Janeen was an economist. In 2122 Janeen fell ill with a serious disease and sacrificed herself to save Beral.
Janeen's successor was joined with Beral on 18th September 2122. His name was Laar and e was born on 8th June 2098. He married Narn and had two sons with her. Laar worked as an astrophysicist. Laar loved mountain-climbing, but on 2nd August 2138 he fell during a try to climb on the highest peak of Trill, and he died.
Beral was saved from Laar's body and joined with female host Aliem. Aliem was born on 8th November 2112; she was married already and had two sons. Later she had two more children - both girls. Aliem was a surgeon. Her eldest son entered the Trill initiate program, but he was dropped down. Aliem died on 9th June 2201.
Next host of Beral was female Tara. She was born on 8th September 2178. She was already married. Later she had three daughters. Tara was an artist, at most she loved drawing, but she sculpted several statues too. His youngest daughter was on 8th June 2240 joined with symbiont Cas. Tara died on 9th May 2272.
After Tara, Beral was joined with male host Pilax. He was born on 8th March 2244; he was married and had 2 daughters. Later he had another to children - both boys. Pilax was a starship designer. He participated on several great Federation's starship designs, as Constellation, Defender or Soyuz. Pilax died in uncertain circumstances on 12th December 2298.
Last host before Lela was female Nadeen. She was born on 5th August 2275. She was a fashion-designer. She married later and had four children - three sons and one daughter. Nadeen died on 29th August 2376.

Present host of Beral is Lela. She was born on 5th May 2353 as Lela Narebi on DS5, where her parents are in service. She's found many friends there already in childhood. Many of them entered SF later. When Lela grew up a bit, she left for Trill to her grandparents, so that she could enter the technical high school there. After graduation, she entered Daystrom Institute of Technology and studied it extramural from Trill. She entered the Trill initiate program, while studying there. When she was losing her hope already and signed for SFA, she was told, that she was chosen for joining with symbiont Beral. The joining itself was made in the very same day she was leaving for Earth to enter the SFA, so her first days on Academy were very difficult.

On 29th August 2376, Beral was joined with female host Lela. Few hours later, Lela Beral boarded USS Bellerophon, which carried her to Earth, so that she could enter SFA. The beginning was very difficult for her, because she had to face up to the symbiosis process and manage her studying duties. As soon as the problems with the symbiosis were behind her though, she found out, that the study is very easy for her. She used the experiences and knowledge of Beral to her favor and finished the SFA as one of the best. Because of her excellent performance at school and her zeal for engineering of all kinds, she attracted one of her teachers, Miles O'Brien, and they've become friends. Miles often told her about Jadzia and Ezri Dax, with whom he served on DS9, before he'd come to teach on SFA. He often says that Lela looks a bit like Jadzia. Several times he took her with him on board the Defiant, when she was visiting Earth and he went there to visit his friends, and Lela had the opportunity to familiarize with this amazing ship and her systems. On Academy she studied with one of her childhood friends from DS5 and shortly before graduation she'd married him. After graduation she was given an assignment on USS Bellerophon. Her husband was already in service on USS Lexington though. After three years her assignment was changed to USS Galaxy.
