Robert grew up on a farm in the Gaspé, located in Quebec on Earth. His family were pretty much living in the past, several centuries in the past, actually. They didn't have replicators on their farm or any other form of common technology. They took their food straight from the land, grew their own vegetables and slaughtered their own cattle for meat. Because of this Robert became more and more fascinated with the outside world so to speak, so when he turned the proper age, he applied for Starfleet Academy with much of his parent's disapproval.

He was accepted in the Academy without fanfare. Courses involving Tactics and Military Strategies were his strongest subjects, whilst he minored in the Security programs. After graduation he transferred to the Glasgow Branch for Advanced Tactical Training for an additional two years. Upon graduation he was offered a position on the USS Evolution as Tactical Analyst.

The Evolution was a worn down Nova class starship which was pretty much on its last legs due to battles in the war, and it wasn't until 2380 that the ship was decommissioned by Starfleet and converted into a touring set at the Starfleet Museum. He was ultimately re-assigned to the Lexington where he presently serves as Tactical Officer.

Not six months later, when an opening came up on the USS Galaxy, he was re-assigned.

Robert is a generally quiet person. He is friendly, and usually quite easy to talk to.
