How long have you been simming?

Since late 2000.

What was your favourite episode (from the game or Trek in general)?

In the show? DS9: "The Wire", "Til Death Do Us Part", and "Badda Big Badda Bang". On the sim? "Rite of Passage".

What type of music do you enjoy?

Mostly upbeat or kickass stuff. I listen to hard rock and classic rock a lot, but also love the many genres of electronic music.

What is your favourite sport?

Participating? Swimming or fencing. Watching? Football, NASCAR (auto racing), baseball, curling.

Do you put you left leg in first, or right? Or do you just jump into your pants both feet first?

Right leg goes in first, left leg comes out first.

Who is your favourite author?

Stephen King (specifically the Dark Tower series), and Mamoru Nagano. I also read Lovecraft and related authors, though I admit to never having read one single Cthulhu Mythos story.

What is your favourite movie?

I have a special place in my heart for Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, as well as The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. I tend to like ass-kicking action movies, comic book movies (yes, even the bad ones) and other typical brainless guy fare.

What is your favourite TV show?

Right now, probably Survivorman.

What is your favourite quote?

"In solitude, we are least alone.", "It's not overactive imagination, it's underactive reality."

What was the best advice ever given to you?

"You can't build a reputation on what you're going to do."

What was your favourite Galaxy moment?

I loved reading Ian's exploration of Curran...hope he comes back someday to finish it.

Who is your favourite character on the Galaxy?

Victor Krieghoff and Kylar Curran.

What activities do you enjoy most?

Sleeping.

Have you ever had anything published?

Some stuff in the New England Journal of Medicine, one or two solo pieces for flute, some articles and reviews for various online sites. I'm also the Publications Director for Otakon (www.otakon.com), so I suppose the con's Program Book and all that count too.

Ever met any Star Trek or Science Fiction celebrities?

I go to a lot of cons so I'm always running into random SF celebrities. I did get to meet Jeffrey Combs at Horrorfind in 2005. He's one of my favorite actors so it was awesome to meet him.

What is your claim to fame?

I am a fountain of useless knowledge.

What is your first memory of Star Trek?

Watching the first episode of TNG on TV, just because I was in the right place at the right time. Later, geeking out big time over Star Trek in my high school years.

What other sim groups have you been a part of?

USS Miranda (Mia mel Thora), USS Relentless (Nakandra Alizar and a few others), USS Prospero (Ashron Kasai), USS Cheyenne (Taela zh'Kedron) , and the now-defunct Five Star Stories RPG over at unspacy.com.

What hobbies do you enjoy?

Well, GMing this game is a part time job in itself. I also enjoy sewing and making costumes, spending way too much time on the computer, and gradually cleansing my life of all the accumulated crap I seem to have collected over the years.

Anything else you want to share?

I have a hard time saying no to more responsibility.
