How long have you been simming? | On-and-off since September 2003. |
What was your favourite episode? | TNG: "The Inner Light" |
What type of music do you enjoy? | Alternative, Classic, Rock, Metal |
What is your Favourite Sport? | Football |
Do you put you left leg in first, or right? Or do you just jump into your pants both feet first? | Left, then right. Unless I'm drunk... |
Who is your favourite author? | David Brin, Tom Clancy (Old-school Clancy, that is), Dan Brown, and too many others to list here. |
What is your favourite movie? | "The Hunt for Red October" |
What is your favourite TV show? | TOS, TNG, ENT (Sometimes), J.A.G. (They're cancelling it this year, what?!) |
What is your favourite quote? | "Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter." -- Frank Oz as Yoda, Star Wars Episode V: "The Empire Strikes Back" |
What was the best advice given to you? | "It is better to let others think you the fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt." -- Anonymous |
What was your favourite Galaxy moment? | Hmmm.... I can't think of one, off the top of my head! |
Who is your favourite character on the Galaxy? | Ooooo.... so many great writers and characters! My top three: 1. T'Pol "8-Ball" Hunter. I can always count on Kylee to write something totally off-the-wall for T'Pol. She is able to portray 8-Ball's very serious inner conflicts in such a humorous and relatable manner. 2. Victor Krieghoff. Robert's portrayal of Victor even gives *me* the creeps, sometimes! What a dynamic character. 3. Corran Rex. Pat has this Trill down...erm...*pat*. Between Rex's multiple personalities (Vorrin is a hoot!) and Corran's own dealings, he has an awesome character to write for. |
What activities do you enjoy most? | Writing is, by far, my most rewarding (and relaxing) activity. If I can't write, I start going batty! I also love computer games, from MMORPGs to FPSs and RTSs, I can't get enough! When I'm able to get out-of-doors, I enjoy sailing Sunfish, Flying Scott's and F-Jay's. |
Have you ever had anything published? | Unfortunately, no. |
Ever met any Star Trek or Science Fiction celebrities? | No. But James Doohan lived twenty minutes north of me, in Renton. |
What is your claim to fame? | That I graduated! Even though it's a paltry AAS degree in Diesel Technology, it's the first *real* accomplishment I can point to. I'm planning on soon starting my studies for a BSc in Maritime Transportation! |
What is your first memory of Star Trek? | My father--an original "Trekkie" from the Sixties--would watch the TOS reruns every Friday night, right after dinner. It was sort of a family ritual for dad and the boys (I have a younger brother) to watch 'Trek together. Then, when TNG hit the airwaves in '87, I was totally hooked, at six years old! |
What other sim groups have you been a part of? | USS MIRANDA: Lt. JG Jonathan "Mack" Turner. SEP 03 - JUN 04. USS GALAXY: 1st Lt. T'Shani "Tish" Akledorian. NOV 03 - JUN 04, MAR 05 - PRES. USS SENTINEL: Lt. Nathan Honey. NOV 03 - APR 04. USS ARIZONA: Ens. I'Sirr,ri'us (Isis). MAR 04. NX-O3 ENDEAVOUR: Lt. Adam "A.J." Pike. APR 04 - JUN 04. |
What hobbies do you enjoy? | Reading books, building model cars, working on vehicles (especially diesel-powered trucks). |
Anything else you want to share? | Nope. |
