How long have you been simming? | I began my writing for the USS Galaxy back in 1996. Been writing on and off since then until coming back to the Galaxy TOS RPG in 2001. I haven't left since. |
What was your favourite episode? | Hmm... that would have to be Yesterday's Enterprise (TNG), City on the Edge of Forever (TOS), The Visitor (DS9), Azati Prime (ENT) |
What type of music do you enjoy? | Anything with a good beat. Except Country. Ick. |
What is your Favourite Sport? | I'm Canadian, what do you think? Ice Hockey of course! |
How do you eat an Oreo? | I soak it in milk first. |
Who is your favourite author? | Not sure if I have one. But I enjoy Weis and Hickman, Frank Herbert, and Kim Stanley Robinson. Stephen King's Dark Tower, which I just finished. What a mindf**k. Now a fan of Heather Jarman after reading her Andor tale in Worlds of DS9. |
What is your favourite movie? | Raiders of the Lost Ark, Gladiator, ESB, Return of the King (EE), Batman Begins, Superman II, Somewhere in Time, Superman Returns. |
What is your favourite TV show? | I admit it. Survivor is. Enterprise as of last season. Battlestar Galactica, Trailer Park Boys, Lost, Hercule Poirot, Miss Marple, Arrested Development. |
What is your favourite quote? | "There is a very fine line between not listening and not caring. I'd like to think that I walk that line every day of my life." - RedvsBlue (Church) |
What was the best advice given to you? | "No matter what you do, don't ever let work come between you and your family." - My Dad. |
What was your favourite Galaxy moment? | When Leo went on his Jedi journey, tied with when one of the PC's went off track and I had to retrieve him during one of the earlier missions. It was a very challenging piece to write, since we were in a wormhole and he was stuck on an asteroid within it. Had to be able to work it into the plot and I was a newbie to email RPGing. |
Who is your favourite character on the Galaxy? | I can't really say I have a favourite, as there have been plenty of characters over the years that all made me feel awed. I would have to say a pretty decent standout was Captain Price. After 7 years, Mark still kept churning out awesome pieces of work. Also liked the Deltan from Season 2 who was my ACScO. And Chief Jensen (yes, he was an actual writer at one time!). |
What activities do you enjoy most? | Swimming, hockey, billiards, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. |
Have you ever had anything published? | I've had a letter published in Starlog magazine when Denise Crosby left TNG, had a review of Attack of the Clones published online. |
Ever met any Star Trek or Science Fiction celebrities? | George Takei, James Doohan, Chris Claremont, Mike Leeke (drew for the Robotech: Macross comics), Mike Zeck (Punisher artist). |
What is your claim to fame? | I'm too modest to claim fame. |
What is your first memory of Star Trek? | Just growing up with it. It was ingrained in my infantile mind. The memory that stands out most is watching the premiere of TNG on a grainy TV set as we hadn't gotten cable installed in our neighbourhood yet. |
What other sim groups have you been a part of? | AES, SSG, FSG. Am a current writer on the USS Miranda, an NHS RPG, as Colonel James Mitchell. |
What hobbies do you enjoy? | Writing, working on this website, playing pool, flirting. |
Anything else you want to share? | I don't like to share. I like debates. |
