An area bordered by the Breen, Cardassians, Klingons, Romulans, Orion Pirates, Pakleds, Gorn, Kzinti, Lyrans, Trill, Hydrans,
and the verminous scum of a hundred stars hiding in the WYN star cluster...it abuts the site of the last mission of the Original USS Galaxy.. the
M'Ichr'aNthal sector of the Klingon Empire.
The Outlands.
A great place to die for the unwary. Legendary for it's 'fast and loose' application of laws... the place that dozens of governments
fought bloody wars over to try and forget the existance of. It's vast expanse littered with the carcasses of starships... and crawling with
pirates, smugglers, dope pushers, slavers, cut throats, con men, thieves, liars, traitors, and scum of every colour, Leo should feel right at
home.
A corner of space where the 'Might makes Right' principal is in full effect. It's here that Captain Bhrode is still trying to
find the 'right ' people for the jobs on his new command. It's here where his crew is split between the 'old timers' trying to adjust to
the 'new' USS Galaxy and the new faces, some of them right out of the Academy and on their first ship.
Old faces are not as they were remembered... old allegiances and friendships are tested, as are old rivalries. Things are not as they once seemed...
Black and White are muddied grey now... Captain Bhrode has a personal mission in all of this. Find the people who removed his predecessor
Admiral R.E.L. Price. Track down Price's abductors and dispense a little "Johnny Bhrode Justice' their way. To do this, he's requested some of the 'key
players' of the Old Galaxy.. the ones he thinks he can trust. The ones he thinks may know something about what -really- happened a year ago.
John Q. Bhrode made a rare mistake.
Imagine his surprise when a killer starts to stalk the corridors of his new command... as he closes in on a 'Conspiracy Theory'
that makes Leo Streely seem sane. A theory will eventually reach all the way to the top of his beloved Federation.
